When a trusted friendship turns on you to bite -
Don’t let the attack on you become a blight!
Let the nature of Love from which friendship has sprung,
Spring again from your heart, til the hurt is undone.
And the friendship that’s true will be revealed -
When the Love that’s outpoured has bound and healed.
